Jonathan Berjikian combined his passion for design and construction with law by attending IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA. Jeremy’s protégé in contract negotiation and project delivery method selection matters, his engineering background brings a unique depth of knowledge and experience to the firm.
A believer in early, cost-efficient dispute resolution, Jonathan strives to preserve the rights of our clients by developing comprehensive but “right-sized” contracts that are fair and reasonable, insurable, use the optimal delivery method for our clients’ goals, and allocate risk to the parties best equipped to manage that risk, all to promote win-win project outcomes.
Admitted to practice law in Illinois and California, Jonathan sits in the office right beside Jeremy and works more closely with him than any other firm employee.

Before joining the Baker Law Group LLC, Jonathan represented Chicago-Area nonprofit environmental justice organizations and community groups. He is proud of his work representing these organizations in several dockets before the Illinois Commerce Commission and the Illinois Power Agency.
